Bengaluru: Customs officials conducted a major operation at Bengaluru International Airport and seized narcotics worth ₹18.62 crore.
The three passengers, who had arrived from Bangkok, were found carrying 52.68 kg of hydroponic cannabis valued at ₹18.62 crore, hidden in their baggage at KIA Terminal 2.
Bengaluru Customs confirmed the bust in an official announcement dated May 1, 2026, noting that all three accused have been arrested and a case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
